God’s Will Mission Headquarters –km 2, Usiefrun Rd, Orhuwhorun Udu LGA Delta State, Nigeria, was agog as clergy and saints from all walks of life stormed the miracle ground to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the church.

To mark the anniversary, 25 ministers were ordained into various positions in the church. The newly ordained ministers included,  8 Reverend, 14 Pastors and 3 elders.

Speaking on the message titled: THE PURPOSE OF ORDINATION and taking his reference from Matt 24:3-5, John 15:16, Bishop S.O Gbakara said everyone is an ordained child of God, he said further that the first reason why people are ordain is for them to be with Jesus Christ. According to him, if you are not ordained you will be a bad messenger of the word, that is why you must be ordain in other to study more about the word of God (The Bible), study to know its applications and how to apply it to yourself and others.

Secondly, time to be with him. That is time to spend in prayers to make you approve of the Lord. Spend time to pray and when you pray, ask the Holy Spirit to sanctify you and purify you. While you pray you have to move to the level of meditation, ask God what to do. All the people who wrote the Bible after God spoke to them, meditated.

Thirdly, you are ordain so that God can send you to preach His word. And if you can obey God, God will give you power. If you can go out to preach, you will be given power to heal the sick and cast out devils.

The man of God charged the newly ordained ministers to be honest and trustworthy in all their dealings with God, man and their services towards the expansion of the Gospel work.

He said men and women are put into various offices for easy and smooth administration of the church. He added that they should be good Ambassadors of Christ anywhere, anytime and project the image of Church.

Exhorting the newly ordained ministers, RT REV. DR S.O GBAKARA the Archbishop elect charged them to continue steadfastly in the Apostles doctrine anywhere they find themselves.

He said they should discharge their various duties with the fear of God, having the assurance that God has not called them to serve Him in vain.
