The guest speaker Revd. Sam Tukura has urged the saints to support the work in the Mission by giving sacrificially for the progress of the gospel in the church.
Revd. Tukura said this during the message at the Opening Ceremony Service of God’s Will mission 18th years Anniversary tagged
“Be Strong in the Lord” (Eph 6:10). He said the blessings can only come when one gives sacrificially to the work of God. “When you give to the Lord, you open the door to spiritual gifts” the Man of God stated.
He said, Abraham was the first missionary worker on earth, who was willing to give his son Isaac as a sacrificial gift to God.
Saying God called Abraham to leave his father’s house to where he would show him, which he obey. Revd. Sam Tukura said another way to receive blessings is through obedience. He said Abraham is called a friend of God because he obeyed and walked faithfully with God and God blessed him by making him the father of many nations.
“If you follow the steps of Abraham, it is then you are a good missionary worker: to manifest your faithfulness to God, give to the work of God in the mission work” the Man of God admonished. Revd. Sam Tukura appreciated God for the progress of the work so far in the church and called on the saints to always intercede in prayers for the brethren making sacrificial contributions already.
